Formalism for the electromagnetic field tensor
The document starts a discussion around an intuitive and generic formalism for the electromagnetic field tensor.
In 2008, the underlying and unsaid reason motivating this proposition was the lecture of E. Cartan’s work on spinors. Considerations at the end of this lecture had suggested a (new) formalism for the electromagnetic field tensor and given rise to a question: “Does the (new) formalism contain a bivector à la E. Cartan?”
The second section examines the electromagnetic field surrounding an electrical charge moving in an environment which is deformed by some cube B. This common scenario brings a rationalistic argument for the intuitive proposition. This result reenforces previous investigations and increases the legitimacy of the intuitive proposition.
