Comments:
The dispersion relation of light in vacuum can be interpreted either as a Euler-Rodrigues parametrization or as a peculiar formulation of the Klein-Gordon equation. In all cases, it can be associated with the main part of some non-trivial decomposition and with a polynomial of degree two corresponding to that decomposition. This is opening a new raod for a relooked analysis of the dispersion relation and of the electromagnetic duality.
